'Many of you will have seen the leaflet in Reception about the graves of Panacea Society Members, in Bedford's Foster Hill Road Cemetery, and might even have tried to find them- but some aren't easy to find...'
Museum volunteer Adrian will be carrying out a free guided walk there on Sunday 24th August at 2pm. Adrian is also a Trustee and Guide for the Friends of Foster Hill Road Cemetery.
Says Adrian: 'As with the Society itself, some aspects of the hundred or so burials there are enigmatic'.
The walk will take between 90 mins - 2 hours depending on weather and questions. All are welcome.
Please contact Adrian directly at adiebean@hotmail.com for more details and to confirm attendance .
The Cemetery's Chapel will be open on the day, and refreshments served for a small charge (cash only please).
