COVID-19 safety Measures:
For the safety of our staff and volunteers, we prefer that masks are worn when inside the museum buildings. However all visitors will be admitted whether wearing a mask or not.
Hand sanitising stations are at each entrance and exit and at specific points throughout the buildings.
A one-way system is in operation in the main museum. Our Tea Shop is open with indoor or patio seating available.

Admission
The Panacea Museum is free to all.

On foot: Bedford, MK40 3NX, near to both The Higgins Bedford and the John Bunyan Museum. There are bicycle racks at the entrance to the museum.
By public transport: The museum is located in the town centre and is easily accessible from Bedford’s railway and bus stations. To plan a journey by train please click here. To plan a journey by bus please click here.
By car: There is no public on-site parking. However, pay and display parking is available in the surrounding streets. There is also a multi-storey car park is in Lurke Street only a few minutes’ walk from the museum. Please click here for further details of public parking in Bedford.
