Lunchtime Talk: Building a New Jerusalem on the Rubble of War

Join Professor James Crossley of CenSAMM and the University of Cambridge Faculty of Divinity.

Prof. Crossley will speak about the post-War period and it's effect on Millenarian groups including the Panacea Society.

This talk has been arranged to link with the exhibition The Panacea Society and the Second World War

Friday 31st July, 13.00 - 14.00, free event with no need to book.

A key belief of the Panacea Society was the ‘end of times’, after which the Second Coming of Christ would bring about a new age – a period of peace and happiness called the 'Millennium’.
