On Saturday the 15th Sept from 11 -5 pm PEAC will be hosting Anthropocene-Keep It Green! in the Panacea Museum Gardens. Speakers will include: • Rupert Read - Green Politician and Philosopher • Jo Atherton - Environmental Artist • Aletheia Mashiri - Community Gardener • Athen Ayren– Greenpeace Greenspeaker • Jane Perrone- Freelance writer specialising in plants and gardens • Kezzabelle Ambler – Performance Poet There will be a range of stands including Abundance Bedford, Greenpeace, The Woodland Trust and Bedfordshire Climate Change Forum. Free workshops will include ‘Green Wishes’ ceramics for adults and children and ‘Museum Of The Future’ family quiz.

They return to the museum to present ANTHROPOCENE: OF OUR OWN MAKING, an exhibition of new works inspired by the CenSAMM 2018 conference theme of Natural Disasters and apocalypse.

In the lead up to the CenSAMM international conference, 'Apocalypse in Art: The Creative Unveiling', artist, Michael Takeo Magruder's work 'De / coding the Apocalypse' will be redesigned and exhibited in the Panacea Museum. The work investigates our enduring fascination with the Book of Revelation.
